Create your perfect school!

When the school year is beginning or coming towards an end, we try to do some creative projects to stimulate the kids´ imaginations. This year, we asked our KET classes to create their own schools. They had to come up with a class timetable, uniform, ten school rules and a drawing of the school. 

Some rules were funny, some were very practical, and others were to be expected from a group of 10-11 year olds. Here´s a sample of some of them:

You can only get into the swimming pool via a slide
You have to act silly in class
You can leave your pet in the animal room
You can have music while you work
Children have to teach the teachers
The parents cannot pay more than  €1 per month
You must eat chocolate every day
You must bring a hoverboard with pictures of cucumbers
You must be happy

School designs included lots of slides and playgrounds, a water-fight park, swimming pools and plenty of green spaces. Of course, the schedule was full of classes like ¨Play on the tablet¨, ¨Horseriding¨, ¨Water fight¨, ¨Puppy class¨ and ¨Art¨. It´s always nice to see the kids´ creativity shine with projects like this, and to encourage their imagination at home too.
