At Luyferivas, the students learn Arts and Crafts in English. The main focus of the class is not language learning, but the students are immersed in an English environment whilst enjoying themselves and the language comes naturally. It's a great opportunity for children to relax and put their imaginations to work. The children work on improving their drawing technique, mixing colours, combining colours, shading and from time to time we bring out the paints (the most exciting part of Art Class for most kids).
This year for Halloween, the Year 4s made bats out of empty toilet rolls. They folded down the tops of the toilet rolls to make the ears.
Then they painted the toilet rolls and left them to dry.
Once they were dry they cut out wings from black craft foam and glued them on.
Then they designed their eyes and fangs.
The final result?
