During lockdown both parents and students had to face a new situation regarding online classes. Unfortunately, this situation is likely to happen again so we need to be prepared beforehand.

Here you can find a guideline about do’s and don’s while attending virtual classes.

The most significant factor to take into account is that this process is only effective with the whole-hearted cooperation of the parents.

•   You can use any device you have at home, preferably a desktop, laptop or tablet, since it will allow a better experience due to the size of the screen.

•   It is recommended a headset, earphone and webcam, along with good Internet connection to enhance the quality of the lesson, allowing the student to be in a classroom-like environment.

•   Students should get a regular place for attending the lesson, free from any noise disturbance or possible distractions.

•   The more well-lit and airy the room, the better.

•   It is extremely important to be punctual when logging in into the lesson, that’s why students should have a timetable of the classes each day.

•   Be ready with necessary textbooks, notebooks, or any material before the class begins. This will prevent students from missing the lesson looking for it.

•   Make sure the device is fully charged.

•   Due to the fact that online classes are an alternative to physical classes, students should remember that any snack or drink is forbidden during class time.

•   Students should always respect the classes, which means that they must get permission to leave out of camera for any needs.

•   Do not let your child skip the online classes because it would be considered as a normal class.

Of same importance is that we do not criticize the school efforts. Please remember that for everyone, especially young children, these are hard times and any help provided should be welcome. In the case of Luyfe, we have at our disposal a platform called Rainbow Alcatel, which permits students to attend classes regularly with the help of a camera installed in each classroom. Both teacher and student can interact through this technology to continue with the academic course.

With the help of teachers, students and parents, we will overcome this situation without losing any academic time. WE CAN DO THIS!
