The title of this Christmas carol is very appropriate to describe how we’re feeling these days at school as well. Children are excited decorating the classrooms, writing letters to Santa or the Three Wise Men to put them into the wonderful postbox that this year invades the hall, rehearsing for the festival we’ll celebrate on the last day of school before going on holiday, giving and receiving hints to discover who their secret Santa is…so, there’s no place for boredom these days at Luyfe. It’s time for joy, hope, magic and eagerness but also for awareness that sharing with those in need is, these days, more necessary than any other time of the year, so that all the children in the world can experience the feeling of being jolly.
“ Christmas, children, is not a date. It is a state of mind.” Mary Ellen Chase, American educator and author.
