Easter

Easter is said to be a famous holiday for children, families and schools in English speaking countries. Not only is Easter related to a religious event, but it is also considered a spring festival of new life. It is the beginning of growth and wealth.

Winter has finished, and it prepares the way for spring. Spring, one of our favorite times of the year, brings us longer and warmer days, the blooming of a great variety of flowers and the birth of a new generation of animals… so let’s be ready for this powerful season!

                    
Luyferivas school, as a bilingual school, celebrates Easter as a way to introduce and make children discover English culture. Many different activities have been proposed in order to increase children´s vocabulary related to this festival and to make them enjoy such an amazing celebration of life.

What about becoming bunnies holding a hand-made colorful egg? In year 1 and 2 children have created their own bunny´s ears and they have prepared and decorated a wonderful egg. Even though the egg´s heart is not made of chocolate, it includes a little chick as a surprise for those who open them. We have had lot of fun, have you?
