Now that Autumn is here and the weather’s getting colder, we feel like spending more time at home and doing things together: films and popcorn, board games or cooking…Here’s the famous Carrot cake easiest recipe you can follow if you want to have some family fun and enjoy a delicious snack together…Bon app’etit!

Ingredients:

225g carrots, 225g flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 140g brown sugar, 2 tablespoons orange juice, 125ml oil, pinch of salt

*For the icing: 120g cream cheese, 6 tablespoons icing sugar

Method:

1.   Grate the carrots. Put the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Mix in the carrots, salt, brown sugar and cinnamon.

2.   Beat the eggs. Add the eggs, oil and orange juice to the cake mixture. Mix well.

3.   Put the mixture into the cake tin. Bake at 180 degrees for 70 minutes. Leave to cool.

4.   Beat the cream cheese and the icing sugar. Spread over the cake.
