Science is Fun is the name of our extra curricular English Nursery School activity. Our five year old students meet on Monday and Wednesday from 14h-15h to learn about various topics associated with Natural and Social Science. We prepare them to study these subjects in English when they move up to Primary School next year. Of course, we also have plenty of time to HAVE FUN, by celebrating our favorite English holidays and of course playing in English.
This year, Science is Fun started with a scary Halloween Celebration! We learned how to make a magic potion, with spooky ingredients such as magic beans, eye of toad, and ear of bat! We are currently learning about the Seven Continents (as is taught in the US) as well as the typical animals that live on each one.
Other activities that we will explore this year are dinosaurs, the life cycle of the frog and of course our favorite- experiments!! Space is limited, if you would like to your child to start studying science with us, sign up today in the Secretary's Office.
