Book Day

On April 23rd, we celebrated Book Day. Reading is important because it helps to develop the mind. Reading also helps with developing language skills, listening skills, and creativity, not to mention the enormous benefit reading has to bilingual education.

For world book day, the children in Infant Education brought their favourite English books to school. The English teachers even worked their magic to change Spanish stories to English!! We spent a lovely day reading and sharing.

The look of excitement on the children’s faces showed their love for books and also the importance of how books can positively affect children.
