Year 4’s Perform Peppa Pig

Last June, taking advantage of having finished the official Cambridge exam, the Year 4’s worked on different projects to improve their fluency in English.  One of these projects was to write the script and act out an episode of Peppa Pig.  The students began by watching the episode without sound and discussing what they think happened in the show.  They then watched it with sound to see if their predictions coincided.  Then the students wrote the script by watching the episode again, scene by scene, without sound. 


 
Once the script was ready, the children auditioned for the parts they wanted and then rehearsed until they had learned the play by heart.  In Art class, the children also helped to make the props.  Then they brought in costumes and rehearsed till the show was ready to be performed.
