La mochila Esperanza

Colaboramos de nuevo con AAPS en una campaña con el objetivo de continuar suministrando el material escolar que los niños y niñas de la Escuela Esperanza necesitan. 

Tenemos un nuevo proyecto para Siria en junio. El Colegio Luyferivas trabaja de nuevo con la AAPS, una ONG asentada en Madrid que envía artículos de primera necesidad a Siria y refugiados desplazados.

Este nuevo proyecto, que ya está en marcha, implica el envío de material escolar básico para los campos de refugiados en Siria. El objetivo es proveer a 4500 niños, cada uno de ellos con una mochila que contenga bolígrafos, lápices, plastilina, cuadernos, un juguete pequeño y un dibujo hecho por nuestros estudiantes. Dicho dibujo debe ser una respuesta visual a esta pregunta: ''¿QUÉ TE GUSTARÍA QUE TUVIESEN LOS NIÑOS DE SIRIA?'' La idea del dibujo es que los niños sirios capten un mensaje desde España… ¡hay niños en otro país muy lejano al suyo que se acuerdan de ellos y les desean lo mejor!

Si quisieras participar, te agradeceríamos que enviases alguno de los materiales mencionados, o todos ellos, en una mochila que traigan vuestros hijos al cole. Se recogerán en las clases desde esta semana hasta la tercera semana de junio.
* Por favor, envía solo los ítems de la lista, nuevos o en buena condición. 

Enseñemos a nuestros niños a valorar y preocuparse por otros que no tienen tanta suerte como nosotros. Desarrollemos más aún la compasión y empatía desde el colegio. Nuestro más sincero agradecimiento de antemano. 

 
The Backpack of Hope

We've got a new Syria project for June. Colegio Luyferivas is again working with AAPS, a Madrid-based N.G.O. that sends necessities to Syria and to displaced refugees. This new project that is already under way involves sending basic school supplies to refugee camps in Syria. The aim is to provide 4,500 children each with a backpack containing pens, pencils, modelling clay, notebooks, a small toy, and a drawing done by our students. The drawing should be a visual answer to the question: ¨What would you like the kids over in Syria to have?¨ The idea of the drawing is that the kids over there will get a visual message from Spain…that there are children in a country far away that are thinking of them and wishing them well. 

If you would like to participate, please send any or all of the things on the list in to school with your child, where they will be collected from the classrooms on a weekly basis up until the end of the third week of June. Please only send the things that are on the list, and either new or in excellent condition. Thank you all in advance for your collaboration. Lets teach our children to think about and care for others who aren´t as privileged as we are. Lets develop even more compassion and empathy in our school.
