Sometimes, we learn the most when we're having fun and being silly. This was a little game we played to revise colours, numbers and parts of the face, and to get the children to engage their creativity a little.

Why not try it at home?! Ask your child to draw a big oval on a piece of paper. Then you can choose what to add to it eg. "Draw five purple eyes. Now draw eight green noses. Add seven blue mouths and 13 yellow teeth." Your children can add their own details to their monster, and they are free to be as creative as they like with the extras: maybe their monster has a little monster pet, or a little monster house, or a little monster vehicle. However you choose to do it, your kids will have enjoy themselves whilst practising English.

Learning a new language should be fun, creative and engaging whenever possible, something we like to keep in mind in Luyferivas!
