Christmas Crafts In Primary

Christmas is arriving, but this year with a pandemic on our hands it all feels a bit different. At Luyferivas we want the children to continue to feel the spirit of Christmas, despite all of the protocols and restrictions in place due to Coronavirus and so the teachers are working hard to keep the joy in Christmas. One of the activities we carry out each year is to produce Christmas crafts in Art class and we didn’t want this year to be any different. Of course, there are differences for the teachers in that we have to disinfect all of the shared materials (scissors, glue sticks, etc.), but seeing the excitement on the children’s faces while making their crafts has made the extra effort worth our while.

Each year group has produced a picture or craft to take home to decorate their houses or trees with. The Year 2s have made a beautiful star out of a toilet roll and glitter. The Year 3s and 5s have made lovely pictures of Santa Claus, the Year 4s a reindeer ball to hang from the tree, and the Year 6s have made a 3D Christmas scene with a snowman, a candle and a present that can sit on a table or mantlepiece. The children have put all their love and enthusiasm into creating these crafts and we hope you like them!
